First Lady Michelle L. Rodriguez is the wife of Rev. Dr. Tommy Rodriguez, Jr., founder, President, and Presiding Bishop of Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. (OREM), as well as the co-founder of Oneness Rooted Church of God, Inc. (ORCG). Besides being co-founder of Oneness Rooted Church of God, Inc., she coordinates all special events as well as all of the Women’s Ministries for both, Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. and Oneness Rooted Church of God, Inc.
As the wife of an anointed man of God, First Lady Michelle L. Rodriguez has worked continually with her husband in the ministry of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, since her husband was first called by God to serve as a Care Pastor in March, 1993 (while members of the United Pentecostal Church International)–serving as his chief supporter–always being the Biblical “help-meet” that she was called to be.
She is an anointed woman of God who is dedicated to obeying The Voice of God, submitting to The Will of God, to living a godly life as well as a life of faith, to adhering to The Standards of The Church, and inspiring others to do the same. Under the anointing of the Spirit of Truth, God is using Lady Michelle to form godly women who are well able to use all of the talents, traits, know-how, and Spiritual Gifts that God has given to them to tear-down the gates of hell! Her Divine-calling is to encourage, motivate, inspire, teach, but most importantly, to empower fellow anointed women of God to answer their Divine-calling.
As a faithful Oneness Believer, wife, mother, First Lady, Christian leader, and Prophetess she enjoys sowing seeds of optimism into the lives of those that cross her path in life. In addition, she exemplifies the passage of Scripture that states, “To whom much is given, much shall be required”.
She was born on July 31, 1968 in Point Richmond, California to the union of Tom and Carole Ruiz, II. Her father worked as maintenance personnel for GE for over 30 years, and her mother worked as an assembly-line worker for 20 years in their hometown of San Jose, California. She is the third of four children born from this union.
At an early age, she learned to place the needs of others ahead of her own, which served her well through the years as being a wife of an anointed man of God, Care Pastor, Youth Pastor, ordained minister, Church leader, Christian school principal, prophet, and doctor.
First Lady Michelle L. Rodriguez is committed and faithful in her walk with God and is determined to do whatever God asks of her–little did she know what God had in-stored for her and her family! As God would have it, when Bishop Tommy Rodriguez, Jr. finally professed the Divine-call that he had received in his mind, heart, and spirit on October 18, 2015, Lady Michelle fully submitted unto The Will of God!
In all of her various capacities as wife, mother, Care Pastor’s wife, Youth Pastor’s wife, minister’s wife, Prophet’s wife, and doctor’s wife, she has come to be seen as a great asset to her husband’s ministry–she has stood by his side as his Biblical “help-meet”, working in her own quiet way to help him achieve his life’s endeavors, as God deems necessary.
First Lady Michelle L. Rodriguez has earned a medical certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist from Bryman College (with summa cum laude), receiving the Valedictorian medallion. She is currently attending Liberty University Online, earning units towards earning her Associate in Arts in Religion. She plans on continuing her education endeavors by earning her Bachelor of Arts in Religion with emphasis in Christian Counseling, then completing the Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy program through Western Seminary Online.
She is a third-generation Oneness Apostolic Christian Believer. She was Fire-baptized with the gift of The Holy Ghost in January of 1987, and she was Water-baptized in the name of Jesus in May of 1987.
She is very passionate and committed to upholding the doctrine of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, the outdoors, taking long walks, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
First Lady Michelle L. Rodriguez currently resides in San Jose, CA with her husband, Rev. Dr. Tommy Rodriguez, Jr., and their daughter, the Prophetess Jackie. She and her family have been previous members of the Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus, the United Pentecostal Church, International, and the Worldwide Pentecostal Fellowship, respectfully.
