The following core beliefs CONSTITUTE the Biblical foundation upon which all of the Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries’ endeavors are based upon:

˜Article 1 – The Bible:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. believes that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God–it provides the true account of Creation, describes the only method of salvation, and contains the correct prophecy of the ages to come.  (See Psalms 119:140; Luke 16:17; I Thessalonians 2:13; II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21)

˜Article 2 – The Godhead:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. adheres to the unadulterated Biblical doctrine of the oneness of God–the infallible Word of God declares, asserts, and proves the existence of one God–that God has revealed and manifested Himself as Father (who is our Creator), Son (who walked among men), and Holy Spirit (who dwells within Believers today).  (See Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 7:14, 9:6, 43:11–15, & 44:6; Joel 2:28; Zechariah 14:9; Mark 12:29; John 1:1, 14; I Corinthians 6:19–20 & 8:6; Galatians 3:20; Ephesians 4:6; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16; I John 5:7, 20; Revelation 22:13)

˜Article 3 – Creation of Man and The Fall of Man:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. believes that in the beginning God created man innocent, pure, and holy.  However, through the sin of disobedience, Adam and Eve (the first of the human race) fell from their holy state; thus, God banished them from The Garden of Eden.  Therefore, the Bible states that by one man’s disobedience, sin entered into the world.  (See Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23 & 5:12)

˜Article 4 – The First Coming of Jesus Christ:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. believes that the one true God (Jehovah of The Old Testament) was manifested in the flesh (Jesus of The New Testament), conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, whose name is JESUS, Emmanuel, the Son of the Highest, the Son of God.  In other words, Jesus on His Father’s side is Divine and on His mother’s side was human; thus, He is known as the Son of God as well as the Son of man.  Hence, Jesus in His humanity was man, and in His Deity was and is God. That He led a sinless life and took upon Himself all of the sin of humanity, died on the Cross, rose again on the third day, and is seated at His Traditional Place of HonorThe Right Hand of God.  In short, Jesus stated, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last”.  (See Matthew 1:18–25, 22:44, & 26:64; Luke 1:26–38; John 1:1, 14; Acts 2:33–36, 7:55–56; I Timothy 3:16; Revelation 22:13)

˜Article 5 – The Atonement of Jesus Christ:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. believes that the Lord Jesus Christ came “to seek and to save that which was lost”.  The Divine act of Atonement is dependent on the blood of the Lamb of God–this is the Biblical foundation that makes salvation possible.  In other words, without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.  Furthermore, Scripture clearly states, “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace”.  In short, salvation is attained by the grace of God through our faith based upon The Atonement of Jesus Christ via His death, burial, and resurrection.  (See Luke 19:10; Acts 2:38 & 20:28; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 9:22; Revelation 1:5)

˜Article 6 – Soteriology:

Soteriology is defined as the doctrine of salvation as effected by Jesus Christ.  With this said, the Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. derives its Soteriology from the adherence that an individual, first and foremost, is saved by The Grace of God through faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  (See John 3:16–18; Ephesians 2:5, 8–9; Hebrews 11:1, 6; James 2:14–26)

In addition, this Oneness Apostolic-Pentecostal Christian ministry believes that in order to receive true Biblical salvation, an individual must be spiritually Born-again, which is achieved after, First, by dying to sin through RepentanceSecond, 1) by being buried into Jesus’ Body via Water-baptism in the name of Jesus, and 2) being sealed into Jesus’ Body via Fire-baptism by receiving the gift of The Holy Ghost, with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives the utterance.  (See II Chronicles 7:14; Luke 13:3; John 3:1–7; Acts 2:38–39; Romans 6:1–7; Ephesians 1:13–14)

˜Article 7 – Repentance:

Repentance is defined as a complete running away from sin, turning from one’s sinful ways, and moving towards God’s Will.  Accordingly, Repentance requires that the repentant sinner take the following Biblical steps towards forgiveness and reconciliation unto God: 1) Water-baptism in the name of Jesus and 2) Fire-baptism with the gift of The Holy Ghost.  With this said, the Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc./Oneness Rooted Church of God, Inc. believes that Repentance is essential for proper salvation as indicated within Luke 13:3 and Acts 2:38.  Moreover, Repentance must be accompanied by Godly sorrow–a genuine inward taste of God’s displeasure over one’s sinful lifestyle, which in turn breaks the repentant sinner’s heart and leads to a determination to utterly forsake sin with no regrets or second thoughts.  Furthermore, Repentance is a prerequisite for receiving the gift of The Holy Ghost.  Let it be known that Repentance does not bring, in and of itself, the full power of salvation.  And, unless it is followed up with Water-baptism in the name of Jesus and Fire-baptism with the gift of The Holy Ghost, Repentance may be lost.  Finally, the ability to Repent is temporary, and it may only be accomplished while one is alive.  (See II Chronicles 7:14; Luke 13:3 & 24:47; Acts 2:38, 11:18, & 17:30; Romans 10:8–10)

˜Article 8 – Water-baptism in the name of Jesus:

Water-baptism is defined as a Biblical ordinance marked by immersion in water, resulting in admission into The Body of ChristMatthew 3:13–16 provides sound evidence that Jesus Himself was Water-baptized.  With this said, Water-baptism is an essential component of proper Biblical salvation; therefore, it is adhered to by Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc(See Matthew 28:19; John 3:5; Acts 2:38, 4:12)  The Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. emphasizes that Acts 8:16, 10:48, 19:5, and 22:16 provides sound Biblical evidence that the early Church performed baptisms; hence, the Bible authorizes no departure from this Apostolic ordinance.

In addition, the Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. believes that an individual may be Born-again when he/she has reached, what is known as, The Age of Accountability.  Now, the Bible does not teach this directly, and one most certainly cannot assign a particular age, such as the age of twelve (12), as a “cut-off” point, if you will.  The Age of Accountability can occur at any age, and it is more specifically determined when an individual becomes aware of right-from-wrong or better yet, when an individual becomes “God and sin conscience”.  Therefore, Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. is fully against infant baptism (known as christening), since salvation requires faith in Jesus Christ and repentance of one’s own sinful ways, which are impossible for an infant to do.  Again, this “age” can occur at any age, and this becomes the point at which an individual becomes “held accountable” for his/her sinfulness as well as for consciously choosing to obey or consciously choosing to disobey and reject God’s Word regarding Christianity.  With this said, The Age of Accountability is basically the theological viewpoint that those who die before reaching an awareness of “God and sin consciousness” are automatically saved by God’s grace and mercy–that God saves all those who die, never having possessed the ability to make a conscience decision for or against Jesus Christ.  By the way, this has been known to occur as young as four (4) years of age.  We believe that God is loving, holy, merciful, just, and gracious.  Hence, whatever God does is always right and perfect, and that He loves children even more than we do.  (See Exodus 20:5; II Samuel 12:14–23; Isaiah 7:15–16; Matthew 18:1–6 & 19:13–14; John 3:16; Romans 1:18–21 & 3:23)

Furthermore, the Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. only adheres to the Biblical practice of presenting and dedicating an infant before God (known as Baby Dedication).  Baby Dedication is intended to be a public statement by the parents that they will train their children in the Christian faith and seek to instill that faith in them.  While Baby Dedication is not an officially instituted ordinance of the Church, there does not seem to be any conflict with Scripture, as long as parents do not view it as assuring the salvation of the child.  (See Deuteronomy 6:4–9; I Samuel 1:11, 26–28; Psalms 127:3; Luke 2:22–40)

˜Article 9 – Fire-baptism with the gift of The Holy Ghost:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. embraces the Biblical view that speaking in other tongues is the immediate, outward, observable, and audible evidence of the initial infilling of the gift of The Holy Ghost (see Acts 2:4), and is the fulfillment of Jesus’ commandment to be “Born-again of the Spirit” (see John 3:3, 5).  As defined by the Church, speaking in other tongues constitutes speaking in another language that one has never known before, and it can be given to all, regardless of race, culture, or language.  (See Isaiah 28:11; Joel 2:28–29; Acts 2:4, 17, 38–39, 10:46, and 19:6; I Corinthians 12:13, 13:1)  Let it be known that Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. distinguishes between the initial act of speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives the utterance, which accompanies Fire-baptism, and that of The Gift of The Spirit of Divers Kinds of Tongues spoken of by the Apostle Paul within I Corinthians 12–14.

˜Article 10– The Rapture of The Church:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. believes in the pre-Tribulation Rapture of The Church.  In addition, we believe that there will be a great falling-away first, and that the anti-Christ will be revealed before the end comes.  (See Luke 21:35–36; I Corinthians 15:52; Ephesians 5:27; Philippians 3:20–21; I Thessalonians 4:13–18; II Thessalonians 2:3)

˜˜Article 11 – The pre-Millennial Second Coming of Jesus Christ:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. believes in the pre-Millennial Second Coming of Jesus Christ–when The KING of Kings and LORD of Lords Jesus Christ will return with His saints to do battle at The Battle of Armageddon (the great and final battle between God and His saints, against Satan and his human forces).  It will also mark the ending of the world as we know it today–with a great and terrible destruction.  (See Revelation 19:11–21)

˜Article 12 – The Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. believes that the distress upon the earth is the “beginning of sorrows”, and that this distress will become more intense until there “shall be a time of trouble, such as never was”.  This period of “tribulation” will be followed by the dawn of a better day–a thousand years there shall be “peace on earth and good will toward men”.  (See Isaiah 65:17–25; Daniel 7:27 & 12:1; Micah 4:1–2; Matthew 5:5 & 24:3–8; Romans 11:25-27; Hebrews 2:14; Revelation 20:1–5)

˜Article 13 – The Great White Throne Judgment:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. believes that when the thousand years are finished, there shall be a resurrection of all the dead, who will be summoned before The Great White Throne Judgment for their final judgment, and all those whose names are not found written in The Book of Life shall be cast into The Lake of Fire–burning with fire and brimstone, which God hath prepared for the Devil and his Angels.  (See Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:7, 15 & 21:8)

˜Article 14 – Holiness Living:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. teaches that one should live a life that demonstrates Christ’s attributes, such as inward holiness–demonstration of The Fruit of The Spirit (see Galatians 5:22–23).  In addition, the life of a Christian ought to be accompanied by outward signs of holiness.  These outward signs of holiness, better known as Church Standards, include a belief that women are not to cut, nor, as a matter of fact, trim their hair.  In like manner, that men are to keep their hair properly groomed.  (See I Corinthians 11:14–16)  In addition, women are to wear dresses or skirts rather than pants, in accordance with the Scriptural principle that men and women are created in the likeness of the image of God; therefore, we are to reflect this image by appearing differently than from the world.  (See Genesis 1:26–27, 2:18–24; Leviticus 19:28; Deuteronomy 22:5; Isaiah 3:18–23; Jeremiah 4:30; I Corinthians 11:3–16; Ephesians 5:18; I Peter 3:3–5)  With this said, skirt length is generally expected to reach below the knee, shirt and blouse length is generally expected to reach below the elbow, and shirt and blouse top is generally expected to be no more than three (3) finger-widths from the base of the neck, as a principle of modesty–inward and outward modesty applies to men and women alike.  (See I Corinthians 12:23–24; I Timothy 2:8–10)  Furthermore, Oneness Apostolic-Pentecostal Christians are discouraged from adorning themselves outwardly with cosmetics or jewelry (Biblically defined as “gold, pearls, or costly array”). [[1]] [[2]]  A wedding band is allowable, by the way.  In short, Oneness Christians should, therefore, demonstrate their spiritual beauty by their actions as well as their natural beauty by their appearance.  (See I Timothy 2:8–10; Hebrews 12:14; I Peter 1:15–19)

˜Article 15 – Divine Healing:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. believes that Divine Healing is for the spiritual, physical, emotional, psychological, and financial ills of the body and life, and that Divine Healing is wrought by The Power of God, through a prayer of faith, the Laying on of Hands, a spoken word, as well as anointing with oil–it is the privilege of every member of the Church, today.  (See Isaiah 53:4–6; Matthew 8:17; Mark 16:18; James 5:14–20; I Peter 2:24)

˜Article 16 – The Lord’s Supper & Feet Washing – Holy Communion:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. teaches as well as adheres to The Lord’s Supper & Feet Washing.  It was during the Jewish celebration of The Passover (on the eve of Jesus’ death) that God instituted this profound “fellowship-meal” that is still observed today.  It is an integral part of Christian worship–it causes us to remember the Lord’s death and resurrection, as well as it encourages us to look forward to The Rapture of The Church.  With this said, Jesus instituted the following as being Holy Communion: 1) Eating of the bread; 2) Drinking of the grape juice (“wine”).  These two actions spiritually symbolize His body that was broken for all humanity and His blood that was shed for all of humanity.  In addition, 3) Washing of one another’s feet–spiritually symbolizes that we are to serve one another.  With this said, it is vital that no one partake of The Lord’s Supper in an unworthily manner.  For example, one ought to be Biblically baptized in the name of Jesus, filled with the gift of The Holy Ghost, and found with a clean mind, heart, and spirit.  (See Matthew 26:26–28; Mark 14:22–24; Luke 22:19–20; John 13:1–20; I Corinthians 5:8 & 11:23–34; I Timothy 5:10)

˜Article 17 – The Ministry of the Church:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. believes that the Ministry of the Church is a Biblical ordinance that was initially instituted by God within The Old Testament; hence, Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. is fully against women having any position within the Ministry of the Church, especially being ordained as a minister of the Gospel or preaching behind the Pulpit.

With this said, the Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Incadheres to the Biblical doctrine that the Ministry of the Church is strictly set apart for a Divinely-called, Divinely-anointed, and Divinely-commissioned male.  Unless, God has Divinely-appointed a specially chosen prophetess.  By the way, let it be known that this Biblical viewpoint adhered to by the Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Incis void of personal opinion, theological philosophy, as well as denominational bias or tradition.  In short, Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. truly believes that women are only to assist a male within the ministry of the Church, not to have a direct role in the ministry of the Church!

Be reminded that The Divine Order of God is clearly outlined as follows: the head of Christ is God; the head of the Church and man is Christ; the head of woman is man; therefore, Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Incbelieves that this Divine Order of God cannot be broken!

Finally, let it be known that there is quite a difference between “…go quickly, and tell…” (see Matthew 28:7) verses “…Go ye into all the world, and preach…” (see Mark 16:15).

With this said, the Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. strongly believes that God would never allow for any action nor religious practice to go contrary to His Word!  (See Genesis 14:18–21; Exodus 28:1–29:46; Isaiah 38:1; Matthew 4:18–22; Luke 6:12–16; Acts 1:12–29 & 20:28; Romans 16:1–2; I Corinthians 11:8–9 & 14:34–35; Ephesians 5:22–24, & 30; I Timothy 2:10–13 & 3:1–16; Hebrews 7:1–8:13)

˜Article 18 – The Laying on of Hands:

Unfortunately, this Biblical ordinance is being desecrated by many individuals due to ignorance of this particular Biblical principle.  Properly stated, the Laying on of Hands is a Biblical ordinance that was initially instituted by God within The Old Testament.  One must always keep in mind that God gave a Divine-mandate directly unto a male; never was a Divine-mandate ever given directly to a female.  Furthermore, it is the male that is to be the spiritual leader–it is his responsibility to teach others about the bestowed-upon Divine-mandate(s) that was/were/is to be adhered to by all others.  In other words, nowhere within Scripture does it ever state that a woman ever laid hands upon an individual–this is not Biblical.

With this said, nonetheless, the Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. adheres to the Laying on of Hands by a Divinely-called, anointed male or a Divinely-appointed prophetess for the following eight (8) Biblical reasons: 1) In Blessing someone; 2) In Ordaining someone; 3) In Praying for someone; 4) In Healing someone; 5) In Rebuking/Casting-out an unclean spirit from someone; 6) In Receiving the gift of The Holy Ghost; 7) In Consecrating/Setting someone aside for a specific ministry; and 8) In Imparting The Gifts of The Spirit upon someone.  (See Genesis 48:8–20; Exodus 29:1–46; Leviticus 4:13–35; Numbers 27:12–23; Matthew 19:13; Luke 4:40, 13:10–13; Acts 8:14–17, 13:1–3; I Timothy 4:9–16)

˜Article 19 – Marriage and Divorce:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. adheres to the Biblical belief that marriage is to be considered holy matrimony between a man and a woman.  In regards to divorce, the Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. believes that “whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery”.  When adultery has been committed, the innocent party may be free to remarry, but only in the Lord.  In like manner, when a husband or a wife decides to leave the marriage (Biblically known as Departs), the innocent party, again, may be free to remarry, but only in the Lord.  (See Genesis 1:26–28 & 2:18–25; Matthew 5:32 & 19:9; I Corinthians 7:10–11, & 15; Ephesians 5:21–33)

˜Article 20 – Tithing:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. adheres to the Divine-mandate of tithing, which is God’s financial plan to provide for His children.  In addition, the Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. believes that tithing has been observed since the days of Adam.  In other words, tithing was adhered to by Abel as well as by Abraham via obedience and faith.  Hence, Moses’ law enjoined it, and the children of Israel practiced it when they were right in the sight of God.  Most importantly, however, Jesus plainly indorsed it!  Furthermore, the Apostle Paul stated, “lay in store as God has prospered”–do not rob God of His portion.  (See Malachi 3:8–12; Matthew 23:23; Hebrews 7:1–28)

˜Article 21 – The Ministry and Evangelism:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. believes that a truly, Divinely-called, Divinely-anointed, Divinely-commissioned, and scripturally-based, ordained ministry has been established by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ strictly for the following reasons: 1) To Evangelize the world; 2) To Edify The Body of Christ.  (See Mark 16:15–20; Ephesians 4:11–13)

˜Article 22 – Religious Holidays:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. believes that since the founding of the Church occurred on The Day of Pentecost in A.D. 33, Pentecost Sunday is to be recognized as a religious holiday.

Article 23 – Secret Societies:

According to the Word of God, Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. strongly believes and holds that the people of God should have no connection, whatsoever, with secret societies or any other organization or body wherein there is a fellowship with non-Believers that are bound by an oath.  (See II Corinthians 6:14–18; James 5:12)

˜Article 24 – Military Service:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. recognizes human government as ordained by God; therefore, the Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. admonishes its members to affirm loyalty to their country.  Let it be known that it is considered a sin to participate in acts contrary to those recommended by the infallible Word of God, after having received the knowledge of the truth as well as having been made new creatures in Jesus Christ.  With this said, however, all Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. members are strongly advised to follow their conscience, personal conviction, and spirit in freely serving their country, whether in time of peace or war, and in any capacity no matter how difficult or dangerous it may be.  (See Romans 13:1–2; Hebrews 6:4–9, 10:26–27, & 12:14)

Article 25 – Physical Education & Sports Participation:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. recognizes the fact that Physical Education is a required course in any accredited school–elementary, junior high, and high school alike.  We also recognize the fact that any part of a desired healthy life-style is to include a physical fitness regimen of ten–sixty (10–60) minutes per day, in order to improve cardiovascular health, muscular tonicity and strength, as well as bone integrity and strength.  By the way, the World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as, “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, not just simply the absence of disease.”  With this said, Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. fully endorses and supports such a life-style in order to help prevent life-changing diseases such as, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, etc.

We recognize the fact that such physical activity(-ies) may require a student to engage in mixed (co-ed) participation as well as wearing gymnasium clothing, which by the way, is considered appropriate for each physical activity.  Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. believes that it is best to fully understand the Biblical principle of modesty and appropriately apply common sense, rather than wrongly judging others and publically express the spirit of Pharisee–thought of oneself as being self-restrained (not involved in carnal matters), exhibiting oneself as being righteous, being full of as well as exhibiting hypocrisy, showing forth pride and arrogance, and are spiritually blinded and deaf.

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. also recognizes the fact that a student may be God-gifted in a specific sport such as, football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, field hockey, soccer, track & field, swimming, gymnastics, wrestling, etc., which may ultimately be a blessing to a student in receiving a college scholarship.  We keep the following in mind regarding the benefits of Sports Participation, because they also apply to one’s Christian walk.  They are as follows: improves memorization, provides learned repetition and teamwork & leadership skills, teaches effective communication methods, increases learning capability, establishes and teaches goal-setting, discipline, structure, respect, dedication, commitment, and strategic thinking & planning, etc.  With this said, Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. fully endorses and supports, therefore, such Sports Participation, given that God is always placed first as well as kept first in a students’ life. ˜

Article 26 – Technology and Social Media:

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. recognizes the fact that holiness is the life of a Christian; therefore, it is not an option.  Here’s the bottom line: as Oneness Christians, we are clearly instructed to, “cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God”; “present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God…being not conformed to this world”; “we are in the world but not of this world”; “we are not to love the world, neither the things in the world, for the world appeals to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life”; “we are to keep ourselves unspotted from the world”; and “we are to walk as children of light and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them”.  (See John 17:14–16; Romans 12:1–2; II Corinthians 7:1; Ephesians 5:11; James 1:27; I John 2:15–16)

With this said, Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc. recognizes that technology [[4]] and social media [[5]] are not evil in-and-of-themselves.  Nevertheless, the OREM must evaluate each new use of technology and social media in light of Biblical holiness.  Simply stated, we should only allow ourselves to view, listen, and interact with those things that are consistent with wholesome family and Christian values.  Now, a word of caution, however: do not turn forms of technology and social media into idols in one’s life!

Oneness Rooted Evangelistic Ministries, Inc., therefore, accepts only the Bible as its standard as well as the Holy Spirit as its sole guide in determining the proper standards of conduct (more commonly known as Church Standards) in this sinful world; hence, it recognizes the responsibility to apply Apostolic, Biblical principles in this ever-changing world.  With this said, let it be known that neither the Bible nor the OREM teaches that salvation can be earned by good works.  However, it must be stated that both earnestly contend that holiness in behavior results from a true conversion by the Holy Spirit, which is, therefore, incumbent upon each individual who proclaims to be a Christian. [2] Jewelry is defined as objects of personal adornment, such as bracelets, anklets, necklaces, rings, earrings, body-piercings, etc., especially made of precious metals, gemstones, or pearls.

[3] Question?  Which is the greater sin: Being involved in co-ed Physical Education and/or participating in organized Sports, or not being able to recognize God’s voice nor recognize when God is speaking?

[4] Technology is to refer to the use of radio, television, computers, cell phones, video equipment, etc.

[5] Social Media is to refer to the use of Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Periscope, Pinterest, Twitter, etc.

[6] Question?  Which is the greater sin: Preaching against Facebook, but utilizing Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.; preaching against television, but airing church services via television; preaching against radio, but airing church programs via radio, or hypocrisy?

In short, if one is going to preach against technology and social media, then preach against them “straight-across-the-board”–don’t pick-and-choose what fits into one’s own personal life-style!
